The
reunion committees of Pasadena and John Muir High Schools
decided over 3 years ago to join together to plan for
the biggest and greatest 50 year reunion event possible.
Committee members have been meeting regularly ever since,
extensively interviewing possible event hosts to find
the most outstanding venues to hold our festivities and
manning phones and searching by computer to track down
fellow classmates. Currently we have over 30 members of
the PHS and Muir Reunion Committees working together to
make this a truly memorable once-in-a-lifetime event.
Excitement
is already building throughout the entire city of Pasadena
for this event. We've ALREADY has articles in the Pasadena
Star News about this momentous occasion!!!!
We
feel that the finished schedule offers reunion participants
an unsurpassed opportunity to reacquaint with each other,
to share our memories from high school and beyond, and
to establish new friendships with fellow classmates from
the 1955 classes of PHS and John Muir and the local Jr.
High School classes of 1953. And
we will be doing it in style!!!
We
are kicking the whole event off with a Golf
Tournament and Luncheon at Brookside Park Thursday,
August 18th. The Brookside Trophy luncheon is for golfers
and non-golfers (yep, the luncheon is open to EVERYBODY!!!).
